Welcome! Fun fact: My sisters named me after this cool lady – Madeleine Madeline!
Rapid fire introduction, brought to you by former supervisors, colleagues, and classmates:
Meeting people (virtually) is tough. Let’s do it over a bite to eat. Here are a few of my favorite things:
– Dame’s Chicken and Waffles. I won’t admit how many times I went to this Durham joint during my four years at Elon University, but I will say that the sweet potato waffle with chicken and maple schmear is what dreams are made of.
– Chevre chaud. Ever warmed up on a gray Paris day with a salad? When I studied abroad in college, these goat cheese toasts drizzled with honey lured me into many a café. Pas mal.
– Munnar street food. Doing a service trip in India through Elon was a dream come true. Eating among locals was the curry on the little dosa cakes (too much?).
– Pickled masala beets. When I entered the “real world” of D.C. upon graduating from Elon, one of my favorite weekly traditions became my visits to my local farmers market. As I strolled solo through the stalls, I’d ask vendors, “What’s the one thing you have that I’ve got to try?” Hence pickled masala beets – something I’d never have ordered but, now, can’t resist.
When I’m not in a food coma, I’m a passionate writer, photographer, and problem solver. I value data and trends used to discover key insights in order to develop apt messages that resonate with audiences. I’m endlessly curious, meticulously organized, and eager to learn.
Thanks for visiting my portfolio – enjoy!
